Meet Erica and Rick.

Hand in hand, under beautiful hundred year old oak tress, surrounded by wide open fields and in front of their loving family and friends, Rick and Erica exchanged heartfelt wedding vows. The smiles, tears and belly laughs were a true testament to the love, happiness and joy of their wedding day and to their beautiful future together.

These two souls met at Erica’s granddaddy’s truck shop years ago when Rick started working there. Which is pretty ironic and FATE if you ask me because Erica’s mom and dad actually met THE same way. How cool is that? Chill bumps, right? Throughout the hours leading up to the ceremony, there were too many times to count when I noticed how loving everyone was to each other and how you could 100% feel the love they share with one another. From the melted down gold heart that was given to Erica by her mom and grandparents with a note that said, “When you wear this heart, please remember it is a part of all of us, as we have donated and had the gold melted down into this never ending heart which represents our never ending love for you”. To the first look between Erica and her granddaddy, to the way that Rick’s sweet mom and dad helped him get ready, to the look of adoration on Erica’s dad’s face as he placed Rick and Erica’s hands together at the alter, to watching Erica’s grandma sit in her special chair beaming with pride during the ceremony. Their day was exactly the way it should have been- absolutely perfect.

I asked Erica to reflect back on her favorite memory of her wedding day and this is what she had to say, “Being able to walk up that aisle as husband and wife surrounded by all of our friends and family was the best feeling. I love that those expressions we had on our faces was caught on camera! We will forever be able to look back on that image and know exactly how we were feeling at that moment in our lives!”

So sit back, relive these moments with Erica and Rick and say a prayer of blessings over these two when you come to the end. Thank you so much for allowing me to be there with you guys during the most special day of your lives. I enjoyed every.single.minute of it!

And a HUGE shoutout to all the AMAZING Vendors, Family and Friends who made the Britt Wedding absolutely spectacular!
